MOA Network: The Front Desk of the Future: Less Stress, More Flow

MOAs and office managers will be compensated for 1.5 hours to attend.
We are inviting MOAs and office managers to join us for an online webinar session on managing front-desk demands as patient needs, clinic workflows, and technology continue to change.
By the end of the session, attendees will be able to:
- Apply practical efficiency fixes to the biggest daily stressors—phones, booking flow and constant interruptions—so the day runs more smoothly without working harder.
- Understand what BC’s aging population means at the front desk—longer visits, more complex patients and more caregiver calls—and how to prepare workflows now rather than become overwhelmed later.
- Know what AI tools such as ambient scribes and smart scheduling can realistically take off an MOA’s plate, and what successful adoption looks like compared with an approach that adds new complications.
- Leave with simple habits for building a clinic culture where the front desk has clear ownership and a meaningful voice, instead of becoming where every loose task lands.
The session will also address changing patient demographics, including:
- The needs of newcomers and immigrants
- Language barriers
- Patient education and health care navigation
- Difficult patient interactions
- Setting boundaries
- MOA well-being
Recent LFP billing changes affecting front-desk work will also be briefly discussed.
