What is the maternity clinic?

The Burnaby Maternity Clinic is a team of family physicians who provide low risk obstetrical care to patients delivering at Burnaby Hospital. The team continues to expand to meet the growing demand, delivering the majority of Burnaby’s babies.

The antenatal clinic is located in Burnaby Hospital and the team provides 24/7 on-call coverage for the labour and delivery ward. This team of family physicians work alongside excellent multidisciplinary and collaborative colleagues, including nurses, dietitians, social workers, public health, interpreters, specialist obstetricians, and other medical specialists.
