Launching the new BDFP website
After months of planning, consultation, and behind-the scenes work, we are excited to share that the new Burnaby Division of Family Practice (BDFP) website is officially live!
The redesign reflects our ongoing commitment to supporting Burnaby’s primary care providers. Guided by feedback from family physicians and staff, the new site features a cleaner layout, improved navigation, and a more modern, accessible design. Our hope is that you can find the resources and services you need with greater ease.
Our new site features:
- A cleaner navigation structure to easily access BDFP services, the Burnaby PCN, and practice supports more easily
- A refreshed Work in Burnaby section fot recruitment and locum opportunities
- A new, dedicated Events page for all upcoming member events and CME listings
- Clearer Leadership & Involvement pathways for physician participation in Burnaby
- Updated patient-facing information to support patients waiting for a family doctor in Burnaby

This section has been refreshed with updated information on BDFP services, initiatives, and resources to support your practice. You can learn more about:

- BDFP Shared Care projects: Opportunities to lead and collaborate with family physicians, community partners, and specialists to improve health care in Burnaby.
- Long-term Care Initiative: Supports for physicians who currently are or are interested in caring for residents in long-term care home
