About Dr. Vernon Ho Yuen
Vernon was born and grew up near Toronto. He completed medical school at the University of Toronto, residency training in Ophthalmology and a Masters of Health Sciences at UBC and 2 years of fellowship training in Oculoplastic Surgery at the University of California Los Angeles and the University of Ottawa. He worked as a subspecialist in Oculoplastic Surgery in Halifax, Nova Scotia, then as a rural Ophthalmologist in Cranbrook BC.
In 2020, Vernon moved to Burnaby, where he now works with the Ophthalmic Surgeons group at their offices in North Burnaby and at Metrotown, and does surgery at Burnaby Hospital. Vernon loves living and working in Burnaby and is delighted to have an opportunity to present to the Burnaby Division of Family Practice.
